Pure Emu Oil is a single-ingredient skincare oil: fully refined, cosmetic-grade emu oil, nothing added and nothing diluted. It comes from carefully vetted, US-based ranches, so every bottle meets the same standard.

Why people reach for it

Emu oil is naturally rich in essential fatty acids and absorbs quickly without a greasy film, which makes it a simple, concentrated moisturizer for dry, rough or uncomfortable skin. Customers use it on the face and body, on hands and feet, on a dry scalp and dry hair, on new tattoos and healed piercings, and as an everyday oil for skin that runs sensitive.

What it does

Helps moisturize dry skin and support the skin's moisture barrier. Helps skin feel softer, calmer and more comfortable. Absorbs fast with no residue, so it works under a moisturizer or on its own. Free of fragrance, parabens, petroleum and mineral oil.

How to use

Massage a few drops into clean skin once or twice a day, or add a drop to your usual moisturizer. For hair, work a small amount through damp ends or into the scalp. For external cosmetic use only. Not for consumption.

Frequently bought with: Soothe My Skin and Emu Oil Soap.

Ingredients: Emu Oil (Dromaius Novaehollandiae Oil), fully refined, cosmetic grade. 100% pure, no other ingredients.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is emu oil comedogenic? Will it clog my pores?
Emu oil is generally considered very low on the comedogenic scale. Its fatty-acid profile — predominantly oleic and linoleic acids — is similar to the skin's own sebum, which allows it to absorb readily rather than sit on the surface. Because it is fully refined and free of additives, there are no additional ingredients that could contribute to pore congestion. That said, every person's skin responds differently, and no oil can be guaranteed non-comedogenic for all skin types. If you have acne-prone or very congestion-prone skin, patch-test on a small area first and assess over a week. Any persistent skin concern should be discussed with a qualified clinician.
